She is attracted to porcelain not only because of its long history or high value but also because of its qualities.<br \/>\nTranslucency, lightness, witheness opposed to fragility, stubborness and unpredictability are a constant challenge in working porcelain.<br \/>\nAlthough she&#8217;s working porcelain since more than 15 years it keeps revealing new features and opportunities.<br \/>\nFor the artist, who is also captured by photography everything is in change. New technologies are arising which she experiments in addition to traditional working techniques.<br \/>\nFor Elize is always looking for a balance between moving forward and keep using traditional working methods.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ita<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Elize Hiiop \u00e8 una artista lituana. Queste caratteristiche sono una vera sfida nella lavorazione della porcellana.<br \/>\nMalgrado lavori con la porcellana da oltre 15 anni, il materiale continua a rivelare nuove potenzialit\u00e0 e caratteristiche.<br \/>\nPer l&#8217;artista che \u00e8 anche appassionata di fotografia, tutto \u00e8 in continuo movimento.
