I arrived in Munich in the summer of the year 2008. I arrived there driven by the desire to meet Robert, a man with whom I had an unusual relationship via mobile phone. Our was a fatal attraction,\u00a0 an art performance, the ispiration for a movie script.\u00a0 It all started some time before in some odd cincumstances\u00a0 in Venice. However at that time nothing anticipated the unusual conclusion of this unconventional love.<\/p>\n

I met Robert at a conference in the island of San Servolo, where we had a flirt and then, driven by curiousity, I sent him an email. That email was strong enough to start an sms relationship. Ours was a ” technological” relationship but it had nothing to envy to those old times stories, when lovers used to write letters of deep sentimental complacency, where words touched lovers souls. The only difference was that we were using images and “coded” messages\u00a0 instead of words.<\/p>\n

At the end it was me who choosed to break the game rules and decided to leave for Munich. Once arrived there, I realized that I didn’t really care for meeting him by the way. I rather wanted to prolong my wait. I wanted my desire for him to last as long as possible… And so I decided to know him first through his city.\u00a0 I began frequenting the city districts, taking long walks around them and in one month I made over 700 photos.\u00a0 And\u00a0 I sent him those that better expressed my desire for him. That’s how I came to know Munich. I’ve grouped words and images in a script. Who knows, maybe it’ll become a movie in a few years… For now I have choosed some\u00a0 photos that I publish in this post.\u00a0 Maybe they’ll inspire the imagination of other travellers…<\/p>\n<\/div>

Sono arrivata a Monaco di Baviera<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 nell’estate del 2008.\u00a0 Ero partita spinta dal desiderio di incontrare Robert, un uomo col quale avevo avuto una inusuale relazione via cellulare. La nostra era una attrazione fatale, una art performance<\/em><\/strong>, dalla quale successivamente \u00e8 nata la sceneggiatura per un film<\/em><\/strong>. Tutto era iniziato qualche tempo prima a Venezia in circostanze, oserei dire assai misteriose che per\u00f2 in nulla anticipavano il finale anticonvenzionale di questa storia d’amore<\/em><\/strong>.
\nLo incontrai ad una conferenza sull’isola di San Servolo<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, dove c’eravamo a lungo sfidati con lo sguardo. Poi, spinta dalla curiosit\u00e0, lo avevo cercato via mail. E fu cos\u00ec che si\u00a0 instaur\u00f2 il precedente emozionale per una relazione via sms.\u00a0 La nostra era una vera e propria relazione “tecnologica”<\/em><\/strong>, al passo coi tempi. E comunque emotivamente non aveva nulla da invidiare a quelle di altri tempi remoti, in cui si scrivevano lettere d’amore, dove dalle parole scaturivano le emozioni. C’era una sola differenze: noi, invece delle parole usavamo immagini e\u00a0 messaggi codificati.
\nAlla fine fui io a trasgredire le regole del gioco decidendo di partire per Monaco di Baviera<\/em><\/strong><\/a> ed incontrarlo.\u00a0 Una volta arrivata nella citt\u00e0, mi resi conto che non mi importava pi\u00f9\u00a0 incontrarlo subito, o meglio volevo prolungare l’attesa. Volevo che il desiderio durasse il pi\u00f9 a lungo possibile… E cos\u00ec, scelsi di conoscerlo prima attraverso la sua citt\u00e0. Comincia a frequentarne i quartieri, a percorrerne le vie e in un mese scattai oltre 700 fotografie. E quelle che pi\u00f9 esprimevano la mia passione per lui, gliele inviavo. Ecco come ho conosciuto Monaco di Baviera. Ho raccolto tutto e ne ho fatto un copione. Forse tra qualche anno diventer\u00e0 un film… Per il momento ho scelto alcune fotografie che pubblico con questo post. Non si sa mai, magari ispireranno la fantasia di qualche altro viggiatore…<\/p>\n<\/div>

It is the diary of a lady who falls in love with a man and gets to know him through the city where he lives. She walks around the city guided by her love.
