Nell’era della socializzazione i limiti spazio-temporali scompaiono. Offuscati dal potere dell’interazione tecnologica, diventano superabili.
\nL’automobile,\u00a0 simulacro dello spazio abitativo mobile per eccellenza del XX secolo, che ci consente di spostarci e coprire distanze altrimenti irraggiungibili, oggi \u00e8 stata pressoch\u00e9 rimpiazzata dalla tecnologia mobile che ci consente di coprire distanze impensabili alla velocit\u00e0 di qualche “megasecondo”.
\nFondamentalmente la percezione della distanza \u00e8 stata distorta e con lei anche quella della presenza.
\nOggi riusciamo a svolgere pi\u00f9 attivit\u00e0 contemporaneamente; spesso ignorando ci\u00f2 che ci circonda, ascoltiamo musica, chattiamo, leggiamo messaggi e alla fine non conta dove siamo: fermi ad un semaforo, seduti in treno, in tram, in autobus veniamo tartassati sempre e comunque da messaggi di ogni genere.
\nOggi viviamo pi\u00f9 che mai nel virtual show e facciamo virtual showing.
\nSempre pi\u00f9 viaggiatori virtuali e sempre meno camminatori seriali, grazie anche alle pandemie, sperimentiamo giornalmente, chiusi nel vortice delle\u00a0 nostre cellule tecnologiche, consacrate dimensioni emozionali.
\nCambiano i parametri spazio-temporali e gli spazi dimensionali si sovrappongono, interscambiando realt\u00e0 dove pi\u00f9 o meno consapevolmente, siamo attori pressoch\u00e9 passivi.
\nDalla nostra “casa-tana”,\u00a0 sempre meno casa e sempre pi\u00f9 tana, entriamo in ambiti che viviamo con forzato distacco e con diffidenza, (mi riferisco ai tradizionali “luoghi non luoghi”). Gli unici spazi in cui ci sentiamo a proprio agio e che trattiamo con riverenza sono quelli della “nostra” tecnologia mobile, che diventano sempre pi\u00f9 indispensabili e sacri.
\nNei nostri mobile phone la socializzazione \u00e8 catalogata alfabeticamente, per nomi e argomenti che organizziamo rigorosamente.
\nOggi\u00a0 la tecnologia mobile \u00e8 il mezzo che ci consente di viaggiare nella realt\u00e0 virtuale e la scegliamo con la stessa cura che dedichiamo all’acquisto di un’autovettura o alla scelta della nostra “tana”.
\nSono forse parole trite e ritrite? Ma quante persone ci fanno ancora caso a tutto ci\u00f2? Quanti, dietro una socializzazione ad oltranza riescono ad intravedere il pericolo latente del totalitarismo tecnologico?
\nQuanti si rendono conto di questo falso egualitarismo tecnologico?
\nFalso perch\u00e9 fa sembrare tutto a portata di mano e possibile, quando in realt\u00e0 il campo d’azione che ci viene messo a disposizione \u00e8 sempre pi\u00f9 limitato, e noi ne siamo sempre pi\u00f9 dipendenti e soli.
\nQueste considerazioni non sono contro il progresso tecnologico ma contro il suo simulacro. Sono un invito a riflettere sul fatto che la tecnologia \u00e8 un mezzo e non “il mezzo”, che i contenuti ne sono l’anima, che siamo noi a fare la differenza nel momento in cui, consapevoli delle potenzialit\u00e0 e dei rischi che accompagnano le nuove tecnologie, ce ne serviamo per creare e non per farci soggiogare.<\/p>\n

In the era of socialization, the temporal borders disappear. Blurred by the power of technological interaction, they become surmountable.
\nThe car, simulacrum of the mobile living space par excellence of the 20th century, which allows us to move and cover otherwise unreachable distances, has now been almost replaced by mobile technology that allows us to cover unthinkable distances at the speed of a few “megaseconds”.
\nBasically, the perception of distance has been distorted and with it the perception of presence.
\nToday we are able to carry out several activities at the same time, often ignoring what’s happening around us. We listen to music, we chat, we read messages and in the end it doesn’t matter where we are: stopped at a traffic light, sitting in a train, in a streetcar, in a bus we are always bombarded by messages of all kinds.
\nToday we live more than ever in the virtual show and do virtual showing.
\nMore and more virtual travelers and less and less serial walkers, thanks also to pandemics, we daily experience , closed in the vortex of our technological cells, dedicated emotional dimensions.
\nSpace-time parameters change and dimensional spaces overlap, interchanging realities where we, more or less consciously, are almost passive actors.
\nFrom our “home – den”, less and less home and more and more den, we enter areas that we live with forced detachment and distrust (here, I refer to traditional “non places”). The only spaces in which we feel at ease and which we treat with reverence are those of “our” mobile technology, that are increasingly indispensable and sacred.
\nOn our mobile phones, socializing is categorized alphabetically, by names and topics that we strictly organize.
\nToday, mobile technology is the means that allows us to travel in virtual reality, and we choose it with the same care that we deserve to buying a car or choosing our “den”.
\nAre these perhaps trite words? But how many people still pay attention to all this? How many, behind a regardless socialization, are able to catch the latent danger of technological totalitarianism?
\nHow many are aware of its false technological egalitarianism?
\nFalse because it gives the sensation that everything’s possible, while our field of action is increasingly limited, and we are increasingly technologically addicted and lonely.
\nThese considerations are not against technological progress, but against its simulacrum. They are an invitation to reflect on the fact that technology is a means and not “the means”, that contents are the real soul, that we are the one who make the difference when, aware of the potential and risks of new technologies, we use technologies to create without being subjugated to them.<\/p>\n<\/div>
