La mostra d’arte contemporanea è giunta quest’anno alla seconda edizione. “Watermark 2023 – Il Segno dell’Acqua” è frutto della collaborazione con la galleria spagnola Novocuadro . La mostra è visitabile in diverse aree all’interno e all’esterno del JW Marriott Venice Resort & SPA, nella hall principale, in prossimità della boutique, nel nuovo ristorante stellato, nella chiesa sconsacrata e nei giardini del Resort presso l’isola delle Rose a Venezia.
Anche quest’anno la mostra è stata co-curata da Michela Codutti, euroinnovators.
La seconda edizione propone i lavori degli artisti Santiago Navarro, Mila, Jesus Navarro, Sand Breton, Didier Lorenço, Eduardo Romaguera, Jacqui Ashworth , alcune opere dell’artista Andrea Morucchio, fra cui l’installazione site-spesific in realtà aumentata “Re-Flooring” ospitata nella chiesa sconsacrata del comprensorio e le sculture dell’artista giapponese Masaru Kashiwagi.
I lavori esposti sono realizzati con varie tecniche: tecnica mista su tela e legno, litografie, carta, collage, acquarello, scultura. Si spazia dall’arte figurativa a quella astratta.
Le opere sono inserite armoniosamente nelle aree del resort consentendo agli ospiti di accedere alle informazioni dettagliate sui lavori esposti attraverso QRCode e flyer informativi presenti nelle aree espositive. QRCode collegati alla mostra sono anche distribuiti assieme alle chiavi delle camere.
Il progetto espositivo ha lo scopo di avvicinare le persone all’arte, e lo fa entrando nel mondo dell’hospitality e utilizzando forme di divulgazione che consentono l’interazione diretta con l’osservatore.
La mostra resterà aperta per tutta la durata della Biennale di Venezia, fino a fine ottobre 2023 ed è visitabile tutti i giorni anche per gli ospiti esterni dell’hotel, che possono prendere la navetta gratuita dedicata del JW Marriott dal molo di fronte ai Giardini Reali di San Marco. Partenza della navetta ogni 30 minuti a partire dalle ore 9 fino alle 23:30.
Giovedì 9 novembre si terrà un evento di chiusura della mostra con rinfresco. Coloro che desiderano partecipare possono iscriversi inviando una mail a info@euroinnovators.org.
Il servizio è completamente gratuito anche per ospiti esterni che desiderano visitare la mostra all’interno del Resort.

The art exhibition is now at its second edition. “Watermark – Il Segno dell’Acqua” 2023 is hosted in the outer and inner areas of the JW Marriott Venice Resort & SPA, from the main lobby to the resort boutique, in the new starred restaurant, in the old church and in the resort gardens, in the Isola delle Rose, Venice.
Also this year, the exhibition is co-curated by Michela Codutti, euroinnovators.
This edition has been organised in cooperation with the Spanish art gallery Novocuadro.
The exhibition presents works of the artists Santiago Navarro, Mila, Jesus Navarro, Sand Breton, Didier Lorenço, Eduardo Romaguera, Jacqui Ashworth, Andrea Morucchio who presents among other artworks the AR innovative site-specific art installation “Re-Flooring” and the sculptures of the Japanese artist Masaru Kashiwagi.
The exhibited works are realized with various techniques: mix techniques on canvas or wood, lithography, paper, collage, watercolours and sculptures.
The artworks subjects range from figurative to abstract art. They are harmoniously integrated in the hotel areas. The hotel guests and visitors have direct access to detailed information on the artworks via QRCodes located in proximity of the artworks and information flyers.
QRCodes about the exhibition and the artworks are distributed to the hotel guests together with the Resort bedroom keys too.
The exhibition project aims to bring people closer to art by entering the world of hospitality and using mobile technology for allowing direct interaction with the final users.
The exhibition will remain open for the duration of the Venice Biennale, until the end of October 2023 and can be visited daily by external hotel guests too, who can take the JW Marriott free shuttle at the dock in front of the Giardini Reali di San Marco.
On 9th November from 3pm to 6 pm a finissage event will take place in the main hall of the resort. For registering send a mail to info@euroinnovators.org
The shuttle departs every 30 minutes from 9 am until 11.30 pm.
