Wars and violence, amplified through social media, Television, newspapers and radio are increasingly infiltrating our Daily lives, fueling anxiety, restlessness and intolerance. Public discourse is deteriorating: we are no longer inclined to engage in dialogue or seek understanding. Instead, we tend to take sides - often abruptly and without making the necessary effort to stay properly informed. This is the consequence of today’s evolving media communication strategies. Fashion stands at the forefront, channeling this collective anxiety into innovative and expressive trends.

Street Chatters is a dynamic exhibition format that explores the blurred lines between the virtual and the physical realities. Through collaborations with artists, it creates interactive experiences both online and on site, prompting visitors to reflect on their relationship with media and how they consume information. How confident are we that we’re well-informed, objective voices in the conversation? And how sure are we that we’re not easily influenced? The luxury of time to think is fading. Today, everything moves faster - and we’re expected to keep up.

Fashion design influences our lives by creating new stereotypes. How far can the ambitions of the collective imagination go? The success of certain products is an easy example to follow, with a little research and minimal risks. This is the uniformity; the image is no more unique and the quality of the product no longer justify the difference in value between a brand and the other, and so often there is no more time to create a tradition of products. At this point the image communication is the only way to distinguish.
