Tutto è iniziato nel 2020 con la spedizione di alcune opere d’arte della collezione Art/NaturSci sul veliero cargo AVONTUUR!
Le inevitabili ripercussioni che i cambiamenti cliamatici hanno sull’ambiente terrestre, il degrado delle foreste e degli oceani per opera dell’essere umano, e gli effetti che hanno su di noi sono devastanti.
Le stime delle emissioni annue di CO₂ delle navi da carico convenzionali eguagliano quelle dell’intera Germania. In risposta a questa devastazione ambientale, Cornelius Bockermann, Capitano del veliero cargo AVONTUUR della compagnia di navigazione Timbercoast, è salpato con il nostro prezioso carico d’arte dal porto di Amburgo, Germania direzione Francia.
Il progetto espositivo PCPW presenta il lavoro di artisti e scienziati attivi nella tutela dell’ambiente e nella rigenerazione dell’ecosistema.
PCPW è prodotto da euroinnovators e ideato e curato da mp Warming, artista e curatrice americana che attualmente risiede e lavora a Berlino.

Fondata dall’artista internazionale mp Warming, Art Science Exhibits Berlin è un’impresa indipendente creata e costantemente ricreata da artisti e scienziati. Le mostre e i progetti istituzionali che vengono presentati hanno lo scopo di ampliare la sfera del dialogo di ArtSci verso la continua ricerca di soluzioni creative comunicate tramite i lavori di artisti e ricercatori.
L’evento inizierà in Sicilia, a Palermo presso Palazzo Riso, Museo d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Palermo e presso lo Spazio Sintesi, e proseguirà con tappe a Venezia e Berlino, nell’autunno inverno 2021 (Covid permettendo).
Le selezioni di lavori d’arte e ricerca sono aperte.

Art exhibition onboard the AVONTUUR, a sailing ship!
The immediacy of the effects of weather changes, humankind’s degradation of the forests and oceans, and the intimacy of the effects on us, is stunning. And reason for us all to conserve.
Estimates for conventional cargo ships’ CO₂ emissions per year equal those of Germany. In response to this crisis, Captain Cornelius Bockermann will sail our precious art cargo from Germany for exhibitions in Sicily.
The exhibition aboard presents the work of a group of artists and scientists dedicated to ecosystem regeneration and limiting carbon footprint.
This project, produced by euroinnovators, is created and curated by mp Warming.

Set in motion by international artist mp Warming, Art Science Exhibits Berlin is an independent enterprise created, and consistently recreated, by artists and scientists. The exhibitions and public programs we present work to greater the sphere of ArtSci conversation – towards positivity and solutions.
In this special collaboration with euroinnovators, our mission for the future of nature-kind is to help regenerate Earth’s ecosystems through innovative ideas and partnerships.
The event will start in Sicily, Palermo, with exhibitions at Palazzo Riso, Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea and Spazio Sintesi.
It is planned to go on in Venice and Berlin, Autumn and Winter 2021 (in conformity to Covid restrictions)
